| All of our 72 MHz channels are assigned by the FCC for R/C aircraft
operation only! They are sole user channels. However, pager and other commercial
transmitters can operate at 10 KHz either side of an R/C channel. If they are strong
enough, they can cause interference to an R/C aircraft receiver. The AMA can provide a
scanning type receiver to AMA sactioned clubs to monitor and log any possible interfering
frequencies. Contact your District Frequency Coordinator who is listed in the AMA
magazine. |
